The Stardust Remodeling Co. - Pinkie Part 2

And we're back with some all new pictures of your favorite pink house!

I gutted the house.
Knocked down all the walls. Deleted the stairs.
Replaced the windows and doors.
Added some columns to frame windows and separate areas and sections.
I added one more column after this next to the stairs to make two next to each other to frame a desk.
I'll show that later.

Preliminary kitchen furnishing testing.
Its going to be a home for at least two people.
And maybe some baby simmies later...
But for now we only have two with room for three.
I removed the hood from the stove and opened up the column for some shelving.
But that's in another photo.

Another shot of the stairs.
I really like putting spiral staircases in the towers of the old fashioned homes.
Usually the staircases are right by the door and take up too much space.
But a spiral staircase in a small tower turns a pretty useless space into a nice showcase.
In this case I put plants in, but those are in another picture.

Second floor now.
Expanded the bathroom.
Turned the other bedroom into two.
Made a small landing area and more open hall instead of a skinny one.

I think its more open now...
And the bigger bedroom has more space.
And the bathroom is actually a decent size.

I had to re-roof a second time to fix the tower room.
It was inaccessible because of the roof.
If you look too close now the roof looks a bit wonky...
But now I can turn the tower room into a painting studio.
Neither of my sims are artistic... But painting is a great way to make money fast so I always have an easel or two in my homes.
I kept the tower windows the same for now. But if I find ones I like better I'll change them.

I had the use the constrainfloorelevation cheat to flatten out the lot.
And then I had to use it again to flatten out all the floors.
And then I had to use it again to fix the foundation and the ground so I could place new not-green-and-ugly-stairs.

Front yard and porch before stair replacement and.
But I did replace the front door in this one.
The other door was... Boring.
This one has a more interesting visual dynamic.
Plus it opens up the indoors.
Especially with the two columns framing the door on the inside it looks very nice now.

A side shot.
No windows on the bottom floor for this side because the foundation.
Which makes the two three-square windows a bit awkward.
But maybe I'll fix that later.

Front yard after the stairs have been changed.
I placed new fences for the front yard so instead of the tall iron fence there is a short one.
I was going to put the Bohemian Garden flowerbeds in... But then I realized I had a ton of CC flowers so I placed some of those instead. And a few orange rosebushes from the base game.
I might replace the mailbox with a CC mail slot I have...
But that wouldn't really make sense from the inside of the house so maybe a cuter mailbox then.

I had to wait for the creepy stalker icecream truck to leave.
And right after it left it came back.
Damn thing.

Backyard. I placed the Bohemian Garden flowerbeds back here.

Some nice square tiles for a patio instead of ugly yellow bricks.
A CC birdbath and the other type of Bohemian Garden flowers.

Living room.
The other column next to the stairs is in here.
The pantry is started. I put a teapot on the shelf to start but there will be more.

I tried to arrange the living room with a TV for almost and hour before I gave up and decided it was TV or fireplace... And the fireplace looks so good.

Bohemian Garden string lights...
Everything else is CC.
Mostly Wondymoon from The Sims Resource...
But also Ungg999 I think for the blinds.
Cycloneuse (not sure of spelling) for the windows.
NumbersWoman for the desk.
And there is something from Gosik somewhere in here.

I love that dining chair so much.
And I especially like the desks-in-nooks design scheme.

The staircase was not interesting.
So I made it interesting.
With plants.
I love plants.
I have way too many plants in my game.
 Another look at the plants.

Plants from another angle that is probably the same but different...

Living room finished.
Well... with a rug added.

A living room shot of the inside from the inside.
Very nice.
Needs clutter on the shelves.
Maybe something on the wall next to the fireplace.
But all of the large furniture is placed.

I placed recessed lighting in the ceiling and a blackboard on the wall behind the oven.
I spent an hour trying to figure out the counter situations.
I ended up with black counters with white marble counter tops.
Before I had white counters with black marble counter tops.
Big changes here right?
It looks better this way. The floor is too light for light counters.

The fridge is staying the same.
But there is a shelf above it now.

You can't really tell from this picture, but there is now a rug in front of the front door and a ceiling light above it.
You also can't really tell but there are shelves in the greenhouse and some furniture items in the yard.
I delete the stuff in the yard later. But the shelves in the greenhouse stay.

Starting on the bathroom.
Most of these items are Gosik.
The tiles on the walls and floor are all CC too.

Added a toilet, a shower, lots of mirrors, lights, a cart and a side table thing.

Lots of clutter.
Check out that clutter.
Look at the clutter.
Clutter clutter clutter.
You can't spell clutter without a C.
And you can't spell Clutter Clutter without CC.

The main bedroom.
First it was pink.
Then it was gray.
Then it was blue.
Then it was a blue gray.
Now its blue and gray and blue gray.

Pictures on the walls.
Some tiny globe lights hanging from the ceiling.
More wondymoon furniture.
A couple nice rugs.
Very cozy and industrial.
Industrial cozy?
I like it.

I had the bed on the other wall and the window in the center.
But I realized if I put the window off center I could have the bed in front of the window.
And that looks freaking cool.

The hall.
The hall shelf things next to the stairs are mirrors.
They come in one section but I placed three of them because they just look really cool like that.
A fur rug and a bench with fur on it.
A hall dresser-shelf-console item.
Ceiling lamps, table lamps, plants.
More clutter.
I'm not sure what else to do with this area.
It seems like it needs more... But I don't know what.

And now on to the greenhouse.
Four CC planters. Lots of CC plants.
A potting table. A couple of crates on wheels.
Lots of plants.
A bench and shelves.

The outside looking in.

The outside looking in from another angle.

A close up of the shelves and planters and things.

Close up of the planters from the outside.
Look at all that nice flat smooth ground that to hours to accomplish.

Enjoy that ground.

Pictures at night to check the lighting.
I always check my lighting during the day and during the night to ensure maximum ability-to-see.

The foundation that has been expanded by one.
I might put plants in those slots to fill them in.

A better look at the roof of the greenhouse.

Outside during the night.
Nice lights on the porch.
Those are from DOT from The Sims Resource.

That is the house so far.
There are the two other bedrooms now.
And the courtyard in the back.
And some front porch things.
